1920's zoo

We ventured to the Zoo last Saturday, and I think we were the only ones without a stroller & a couple kiddos. We enjoyed seeing the few animals, we were there in the early afternoon and most were asleep, but our favorite part was just walking around & learning about the history of the Zoo. It was built in the 1920's and was the first zoo to start the natural enclosures rather than cages for the animals. We also were in love with the architecture and the old houses that lined the back East wall. It was the perfect day to go and besides having sore feet and some freckles on our nose, we were satisfied with our Saturday spent back in time.

  1. What a cool zoo I'm a little jealous. The Idaho Falls Zoo is cool but nothing to write about.

    1. HA HA. My friend went the same day and she kept texting me "This zoo sucks! It's so boring!" I never had the chance to go while I was up there....
