.........wait, that's not right. But it is in this case. We are both leaving the cold weather and heading to opposite coasts for a couple days. Derek's off to Arizona for some last minute testing at the school before graduation and I'm going to hang out with Mickey and friends with my family. These shoes are going to be getting a lot of ground time this week walking me through Disney World--dorky socks & all. Let's just hope we can both bring the sunshine back with us, because, let's get real here Michigan. Last year the high for today was 83 degrees. Today it's 41.

We're excited, happy, & grateful.

P.S. Derek and I met 4 years ago today. You can read about that here.

Our {little} Corner
Here is a peek into our little corner in Michigan. Since we are only here temporarily we didn't bring all of our belongings with us. We like to call it "glorified camping", and I think we did a pretty good job of making it look like a home.

The Tables Turn
The tables turned on this little soon to be surgeon last week. No worries, just a minor throat/esophagus scope, but that face says it all. His goal was to realize how patients feel to make him a better doctor. I think his favorite part was getting cranberry juice & fuzzy grippy socks.
Silly boy.

Five Things
/ morning rain before the snow storm /
March is always one of those months I can't quite put my finger on. There aren't any holidays- St. Patty's Day I guess- but green isn't my color, getting pinched isn't fun, and let's face it, Irish food isn't good. March was always that month living in Idaho where I knew Spring was right around the corner, and then it would snow buckets and buckets in one night, just taunting all of us who were hoping for grass and flowers. Last year, I was laying out by the pool during my spring break in March, by golly. Oh goodness, I guess we will see what Michigan has to offer up.
/ prepping for monthly craft night /
/ graduation items on the to-do list almost make it fun /
