MERRY CHRISTMAS 2018

GRANT: TWO YEARS OLD

Hey, Howdy, Hey! Grant is TWO! WOW! Our sweet little boy celebrated his special day with a Toy Story family party with all of his favorites! He was in heaven all day; from seeing Santa, to getting ice cream at lunch from the Chick-Fil-A cow, to eating pepperoni pizza for dinner. We ended the night with chocolate cake with fluffy blue frosting, perfect for Buzz and Woody to join in the fun. We love this sweet boy of ours. A few things about Grant at age two:

- He loves to snuggle and give love. He is a very grateful little boy and knows when to give appreciation and love.

- He enjoys playing with little sister and showing her the ropes.

- He climbs on everything! He is well beyond his age in terms of physical ability. He is strong, fast and quick witted in physicality and mental problem solving.

- He is quiet when it comes to words, but still loves books and his comprehension is very high.

- Mickey, Donald, Buzz, Woody, and Lightning McQueen are his favorites.

- He loves going to church to be in nursery with all of his friends.

ELIZA: FIVE MONTHS

Eliza is Five Months and we can't believe it! She is a rolling machine. Her favorite thing to do is roll across the room and find Grant or a toy (sometimes one of Grant's toys). She is super vocal and also grabs at everything. She is so ready to start solids, so we will be trying that very soon! She has the best gravly little laugh and is such a happy girl. Grant is still her favorite person, and he gives her copious amounts of love each day to show it back. She is a tiny little peanut, but her cheeks make up for her petite frame. We love her! 

SANTA 2018

ELIZA: FOUR MONTHS

Eliza Catherine is Four Months! Besides really hitting the sleep regression hard, Miss E is just the happiest little thing. She can successfully roll back to tummy that that is her favorite past time. She still loves baths and watching her big brother. She is babbling and cooing constantly, which is always getting her a lot of attention when we are out and about. She is such a ray of sunshine and truly a living baby doll! 

DEL OSSO FAMILY FARMS 2018

We visited our local pumpkin farm over the weekend as the sun was setting into a pink cotton candy color. Grant was in heaven climbing on the pumpkins, but was even more thrilled when he saw the darling play structures to play on. He climbed and slid and had the best time! We also saw some fun animals and played in the corn pit (imagine a ball pit filled with corn kernels) and found that in all our shoes and pockets when we returned home.We made sure to grab some apple cider and donuts before we left, and enjoyed the cooler weather at the farm. 

ELIZA: THREE MONTHS

Eliza is Three Months Old! She has flown on two airplanes (and was a champion at it!) and survived two road trips (San Diego & Monterey). She is a happy little girl most of the time, but has quite the cry when she wants something done her way. She loves her big brother and bath time with him is her favorite part of each week. She also loves to be outside and go on walks, swing, or just lay on a blanket. Her eyes change from blue, to green, to hazel, to brown, so we aren't sure on the color, but we think they will be hazel or brown. She is the sweetest little girl and we love her dearly! 

ELIZA: TWO MONTHS

Eliza Catherine is Two Months! We just love this sweet little baby. She has been giving us smiles and coos all day long. She is calm and cool (similar to Grant) and a really good baby. She loves her big brother and her special time with Daddy after Grant goes to sleep. She loves to eat and is super efficient (which is a Mother's dream!) and also loves bath time. How did we ever live without her?

ELIZA'S BLESSING DAY

 On September 2, 2018 Eliza Catherine was given a name and a blessing by her father at church. She had many wonderful examples of strong Priesthood holders in the circle during the blessing as well. We celebrated her by having a brunch after with our family, many of whom traveled long hours and distances to share her special day with us! She was quite the little cutie in her pretty white dress, blush shoes and white bonnet (which she hated and only wore for the blessing)! We are so happy and grateful we had so many people we love here to share in this special event with Eliza!
